—Movement Classes: It is important for the developing child to be in age appropriate classes. Students should be the age listed for the class by October 1.
—Technique Classes: Students spend 2 to 3 years at each technique level. Students that study in the summer or take multiple classes will progress at a little faster rate than the recreational dancer.
—We work hard to place our students in classes where they can shine. If you have questions about your class assignment please talk to your teacher.
—Please notify the office in writing if you need to drop a class. We will continue to bill you until the office is notified in writing.
—Any missed classes may be made up. Please ask your teacher which classes are appropriate.
—No make ups are allowed the two weeks before the recital.
—We do not pro-rate fees for absences.
—Explorations: Any comfortable movement wear is fine. Ballet shoes are optional.
—Ballet: Pink ballet shoes, footed pink tights, black leotard. Hair worn in bun.
—All other technique classes: Leotard and tights or dance pants and a fitted top. No jeans!
—Boys: Dance pants and T-shirt.
Remember, we need to see the body to make corrections, and you need clothes that you can comfortably move in to get the most from your dance class! Students that arrive without appropriate dance wear will be offered clothes from the borrow box in order to take class.
This fee helps cover the cost of Studio A Celebrations and Recitals and is $65 per student per movement class or $75 per student per technique class. Upon placement of your child in class, the production deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. This fee is due at the time of registration to hold your place in the class. No production fee for Pointe classes.
Enrollment is considered a commitment for the entire dance school year (or remaining portion of the year for late enrollees).
Class fees are due the first class of each month, September through May. This represents our instructional year divided into 9 equal payments. It does not reflect the number of classes in the month.
The preferred payment method is an automatic payment set up through your bank. This method is strongly encouraged.
Please note that a $20 fee will be added for late fees. A $25 charge will be added for returned checks.
Class fees are based on the number of hours in class per week per student.
